SANZAR VSCMG Assembly Complete: Ultra-Compact ADCS Delivers 1.4 Nm Torque in Under 1U
🚀 Major milestone achieved! We’ve just completed the physical assembly of our Sanzar VSCMG for our Attitude Determination and Control System, and we’re getting closer to seeing our system in action.
What makes our VSCMG different?
While current solutions delivering >1 Nm of torque typically require 2U+ of volume, we’ve achieved maximum power density in an ultra-compact configuration:
– 4 VSCMG units fitting in <1U
– 1.412 Nm torque output — unmatched for its size
– 350 g per unit
– Pointing precision: 0.0002° for demanding optical payloads
– Unit dimensions: 97 × 48.5 × 48.5 mm
The impact? CubeSat platforms >3U can now perform ultra-fast, precise maneuvers, increasing operability (>44%), enabling optical and quantum communications, and freeing up critical space for payloads.
Excited to bring this technology to orbit. Stay tuned for more updates! 🛰️
